Tamera Mensink, MA, LMFT

I’ve always been interested in stories of people losing their way and finding hope again in their lives. As a therapist, I have been on many journeys. My passion for your story will help me to meet you where you are at and to be with as you as you discover the many paths that you have traveled before and to help you on your journey to choose the right paths.  I also believe that God has led me to do this work and that through him all things are possible.

My professional training began with a Master’s Degree from Adler Graduate School. I have worked with many populations, including adults, couples, and adolescents. II am also trained in trauma therapy and do EMDR Therapy.  I am currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist.

I like to hear your stories of love, passion, happiness, strengths and dreams to help you move ahead. I will help you discover deeper life lessons in the situations you have dealt with in the past, so you can let go of the patterns that have kept you from living a fulfilling life. I will also help you map out and trace the origin of your feelings to the source and to discover meaning and significance in past difficulties. I will help you realize the meaning and influence behind them that still contribute to your life today.

I believe that every person deserves and is capable of feeling peace and finding meaning in their lives. There are times along the way when we lose sight of the passion and joy that was once ours. These challenging times can often be important life lessons and reminders to help guide you back to what matters most in your life. I will work with you to help you rediscover what your passion and purpose is, and how to rekindle that joy in your life.
